Airsoft Saw m249 Problem

by JD
(New Orleans)

I have a Saw and the other day i was using it to shoot coke cans and stuff when i took my finger off the trigger and it kept shooting, is there anything I could do to get this to stop?

Response from AirsoftDome Team:

Hiya JD,

Chances are the trigger switch has become welded closed. When firing long bursts on auto, the heat buildup in the internal switch can cause it to become fused together in the closed position.

You’ll need to open up the gun and investigate the issue. More than likely the trigger switch will have to be replaced.

Fitting a mosfet will help prevent this problem from re-occurring as it dramatically reduces the amount of current flowing through the trigger switch.

Hope this helps you!
