Are Airsoft Guns Safe For Kids to Have?

I'm 13 and I want to know how to be safe with Airsoft guns.

Airsoft is a game. It is meant to be fun but still provide that realism that hardcore gamers look for.

As far as safety goes, the best thing I can say is to treat an airsoft gun with the same caution that you would with a real gun. Some main points of this are:

-Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire

-Never point your airsoft gun at anyone unless you are playing a game. Even if the magazine is out, battery is disconnected, and safety is on. It is just good practice.

-Always have the safety on when you are not firing

-And the most important is to always wear eye protection. If you are in a game or just shooting in the backyard, your eyes are irreplaceable.
Protect them as best you can and don’t try to save money on eye protection.

Be sure to invest in a nice facemask or pair of goggles.
