Can My Airsoft Gun Work With Other Batteries?

I recently bought a Umarex mp5 with the licensed HK brand name.

The battery has the head with the male ends and the input in the gun has the female ends.

Most guns have it the other way around along with the batteries.

Will my gun work with other batteries and how?

Response from AirsoftDome Team:

You gun should be able to run on any airsoft battery. Batteries should always have female connectors to prevent short circuits.

If your gun has them the other way around I’d strongly recommend that you swap the connectors over.

As well as making it safer to store/carry tour batteries it will mean that you no longer need to use a specific battery for that gun.

You would then be able borrow batteries from other players in a pinch, or to use the same batteries in any other guns that you may have.

You can get replacement Tamyia connectors on eBay or in electronics stores.

Hope this helps you!
