Is Airsoft Legal in New York?

i wanted to know if it is legal in new york and if it is what are the rules

Hiya Josue,

New York City requires that all realistic imitation firearms be made of clear or brightly coloured plastic.

In New York City, possession of any imitation firearm in which the propelling force is a spring or air (which covers airsoft guns) requires a license.
